LEED-certified building will increase efficiency and comfort
(Watkinsville, GA – December 01, 2011)—Dr. Tradd Harter today announced that Classic City Orthodontics has broken ground on a new office building at 1020 Jamestown Boulevard. The new space will replace Dr. Harter's existing office on Park Drive, which he opened 10 years ago.
“We want to give back to Oconee County, an area that has been so supportive of our practice,” said Dr. Harter. “We want our patients’ experiences at our office to be as comfortable and fun as possible, and this new space will help us achieve that goal.”
Situated at the corner of Hog Mountain Road and Jamestown Boulevard, the new LEED-certified building will afford patients more space, comfort, parking and technology while maintaining the same exceptional customer service that Dr. Harter’s patients expect.
With the help of Matlack-Van Every Design, an orthodontic design firm, and AllPhase Medical, a local construction firm that specializes in the development and construction of medical practices and healthcare facilities, Dr. Harter has designed this new office with his patients’ and staff members’ best interests at heart.
"This new building will be beautiful and comfortable for patients and allow Dr. Harter and his staff to work efficiently while using the latest technology," said Joyce Van Every, president of Matlack-Van Every Design. "The comfort, function and beauty of patients' smiles is Dr. Harter's top priority, so we designed a space that offers comfort, function and beauty to support his goal while allowing his patients to enjoy the process."
Patients can expect an open reception area, a more private treatment bay, a children’s play area, a conference room and an entertainment space.
“We’ve kept a keen focus on CCO’s operational efficiency, patients’ needs, and cost of ownership and maintenance,” added Bill Kraeling, President & CEO of AllPhase Medical. “CCO’s new building will be a first for Oconee County, not only in its design and architecture, but the building also will use less energy and cost less to maintain far into the future. Dr. Harter puts his patients first, and so their care and comfort are at the heart of the building’s design.”
First American Bank & Trust will provide the financing for Classic City Orthodontics’ new Watkinsville office.
“As a locally owned and operated bank for more than 80 years, First American believes that we have both an interest and a responsibility to maintain the viability and prosperity of our community,” said Kelly White, First Vice President of First American Bank. “Supporting Dr. Harter’s vision for growth while continuing to provide outstanding patient care is a perfect example of how First American Bank is not just here for you, but we are here with you.”
