Dr. Tradd Harter and the team at Classic City Orthodontics inject heart and soul into their unique Partners in Education program. As parents, friends of educators, and most importantly orthodontic caregivers to the area’s most precious resources, our students, the CCO team is committed to making a difference not only by creating healthy smiles, but also by giving back to our schools and community. |
In an unprecedented effort to contribute to area schools and invest in the future leaders of Athens, the Classic City Orthodontics family will donate $100 directly to the school of every patient who begins orthodontic treatment during the 2010-2011 school year.
The Partners in Education Program was ignited by Dr. Harter’s concern that students are suffering due to the historical economic difficulties facing our state and nation.
“Designed to support local schools during this economic crisis when many counties are suffering budget cuts, our Partners in Education program began January 2010 and has already raised nearly $35,000 for area schools,” said Dr. Tradd Harter, owner of the practice. Not only does the CCO team contribute directly to all area schools, but they also make regular visits to the schools to promote good oral hygiene and dental awareness during National Children’s Dental Health Month in February, and National Orthodontic Health Month in October. Students are entertained with an interactive skit, and then have the opportunity to ask questions about orthodontics and dentistry.
